What is your Bill IQ

I was bored so I decided to see what my Bill IQ was. Lets just say I expected worse then I actually got. My IQ is 64%. For me though a few of the questions just did not apply. One Bills IQI work from home and just started recently making enough to cover bills. Two I have a few monthly payments I make but because I was not working most of my bills are debt that is in collections. I have thought about getting Debt help but I have been told that I really don’t have much and they won’t help me because of that. They are right, if you take out my student loans my debt is only about $5000.

I think though that is is a very good idea to figure out what you really know about your financial status. Most of my family uses the excuse of I can’t do anything because my credit sucks, but they don’t know their credit score and never check it. I at least know that much, but I started out trying to make sure my credit was good. Unfortunately things happen you have no control over like losing a job or a home. For me it was the lose of a job, twice in two years. You just never know whats going to happen.

No house for me

I decided to try to call another bank and see if I could get a loan. Apparently everyone only checks the expiring credit report that is about 100 points off from the other 2 so I can’t get a loan. It sucks, I really wanted this house. Of course the fact that I wanted it should have stopped me from even trying. I don’t understand why I get my hopes up anymore. I’m never going to be able to do anything I want to. It’s been that way for 25 years why would it change now.

Sometimes I wonder why I’m still here. Why I just can’t be happy and why everyone else gets everything, but I get nothing. If you can’t tell I’m a little depressed.

Finding The Right Credit Card

If I can get this house I am hopeing to get I think I will need to look into getting a credit card so that I can buy the more expencive things I will need that I won’t have the money to buy with cash. I hate the idea of putting a ton on a credit card, but I will need to get a refridgerator and stove for my house. Those are the big things I have to have so I can actually live in this house. I may be able to buy one with cash, but not both.

Anyway I was looking at different cards and their credit card rating. I’m still thinking I may just try to get store card or one that had rewards. The store one I like beause I can only use it there and I won’t be tempted to use it anywhere else. That and sometimes store cards are easier to get. If I got another type of credit card I may want to use it on other things I don’t really need. Who knows I may be good like I use to be. Then I quit my job and things went downhill. I think I have learned my lession though, at least I hope I have if I do get one.

Finding a home

I’m still hoping to move by the end of summer and I thought maybe I should look to see if I can find a cheep home to buy. I checked out a few that were in foreclosure and there was one that would be perfect. I just don’t think that I could get a loan for it as I intend to move next June again since I hope to have a job somewhere. I just think it would be nice to get a home and fix it up. I could take pictures of the before and after and go from there. My little sisters are going to be doing this and they have a lot of work to do as they are turning a 2 unit home into a single family. I would just be updating and maybe taking down a wall depending on the layout.

I just don’t think I can do it as my credit is not good and I am self employed and only make around 800 a month. I can wish though right?

Find Your Way Out

I have been in debt for a few years now. I have many things in collection and many more on their way. Some of the problem are hospital bills I just can’t pay some is credit card debt. Unfortunately I can’t get help for it as it really is not that much and the only reason it’s gotten this way is because I don’t’ have a steady job, I can’t find one and what money I get goes to paying what I can.

That doesn’t mean that you can’t get credit card debt relief. Most Americans have this problem, we spend and spend and then the credit card bill comes and we can’t pay it. One site ACA4help.com may be able to help you with your credit card debt. Like most programs you can get a free consultation and they have a few different ways to help you out. You can choose debt settlement, credit concealing which I recommend if you have an addiction to credit cards and loans, Debt consolidation, pay on your own or Bankruptcy. You can compare all of these options and choose the one that is right for you.

Debt is a growing concern right now. I hope to be free of all of my debt by next year, well except my student loans. Thats why I want to get the rest of it paid off, before I graduate, that way I can afford those loan payments.

Believe it or not some business still don’t take credit cards. I ran into one yesterday and was reminded of a speech one of my classmates did last week. Her restaurant does not accept credit cards and they are always turning people away. This is the same thing that happened to me yesterday luckily it was a store so I just left and went somewhere else. Needly to say it’s a store I won’t be going into again as I hardly ever have cash.

It’s actually an easy process to accept credit cards. You just have to subscribe to a service. You get a machine that will read them and your good to go. The company does everything for you. They take out the fees, and send the rest on to you once they get paid. It depends on the credit card company though some will not pay you until the customer pays them.

I know how easy it is to take credit cards, I did it when I sold Avon. I used one of the old manual ones though, at least until I was sent forms for them to fill out instead. I usually encouraged them to just shop online with my website, that way they didn’t worry about me stilling there information. I wouldn’t but I don’t trust many people, so I don’t expect many to trust me.

Why should I worry?

I have very poor credit, so poor in fact that I joke about someone trying to steel my credit would pay me to take it back. It’s that bad. I’ve learned recently that even people with bad credit need to watch out for people who will steel it. I applied for a credit card a few weeks ago and was approved. Why well because it was for people with bad credit. The worst part is that it starts with a balance on it, so you have to pay for money you really didn’t use.

There are many services out there you can use that will help prevent this lifelockbeing one. I suggest though that you check online and find the service that is right for you. Some will help prevent identity theft by monitoring your credit for you. Others just let you get unlimited credit reports so you can do it yourself. Either way you want to make sure you look at your credit. I’m worried now more then ever as the economy is so bad someone may thing my little bit of credit is worth steeling and I don’t know what I would do at that point. I’m already struggling to make ends meet.
