I have to say I am very impressed and after listening to him am am very sure I will be voting for him. I think he will be about change, and as he put it we don’t need to take a 10% chance for change. I was not able to vote 8 years ago I was 17 when voting took place, but 18 when Bush took office. I wish I could have had a voice, because I would have voted against him and I would have felt like I tried. Instead I am one of those who has struggled since I graduated to find work, pay for school and food and try to make a life for myself.

Obama’s plans for this country is what needs to happen, we need to take care of ourselves not try to pay for everyone else when we have homeless people and children that can not eat. I am tired of watching people with money get everything and complain when they can’t have that second or third home. That needs to stop and if your one of those people, think about how the economy is for you, now think about what it would be like to wonder if you’ll have food tomorrow? I’m sure you don’t worry about this.

I think though the best part of the speech was that Obama believes in family and parents being able to be parents, not working all the time to make ends meet, not worrying about money or how they are going to get their kids to and from school. We need to make a change, and we need to now or we are just going to keep going downward and things will just get worse.

He also stated that you don’t defeat terrorist by being in Iraq. he’s right terrorism is everywhere, you defeat it by sending the message that you are willing to look past differences, not enforce your believes onto others. Working with others is the answer, not going in with power and weapons and making people do as you want them too.

We as a country need to think, what about me? what about my children what about our lives, our homes, our issues? Why can’t we spend Billions on our schools and our health instead of on war and other countries that just use us so that they don’t have to spend anything?

The United States is on at a canyon, do we step forward and build a bridge across or do we sit down and let things stay as they are?

With the way the economy is everyone is looking for cheap clothing and a good deal. I still believe that one of the best places to find good deals is online, one place to check out to get Discount Clothing is heavenly Couture, right now the site has a great deal going on and not just the fact that everything is $17.95 or less if you spend over $150 you get 5% off your order and if you spend over $250 you get 10%. Thats a great deal.

They also have very cheap clothing that is stylish and fun, the only downside is you will have to check the site daily and place a daily order if you like what they show. Here is how it works they feature one new item daily for $9.95. Today they have a very cool sparkly shirt that most women would love to have, I’m on the bigger side so it wouldn’t work for me, but I may check out what they have tomorrow.

Overall they have a great selection of clothing. I have posted a few of my favorites here, but I really suggest you check them out for yourself, they have so much more to offer that is unique and fun to wear.

My mother rents a home. She loves doing it and I love that she has been able to make it succeed. It was out of necessity as she had a new home built just before all of this mortgage mess and the economy going crazy. Actually it was about 2 years before that, but Michigan’s economy has been bad since then, it didn’t start with the housing market like the rest of the country did.

Anyway she just called to see about refinancing the house to put on a new roof, because it needs it. They won’t do it because that house is not worth it. It sucks, because she may have to unload it at a very cheep price now. Hopefully she can do something about it and not worry anymore. There are so many other problems we are having right now and this is something that she shouldn’t have to worry about.

I woke up this morning and found out that my blog was Pay Per Post’s blog of the day. Now I know many don’t even look at that anymore, but I’m kinda happy about it. I think my blog is good and I hope anyone reading it does too.

Anyway I thought I would take the time to thank PPP for everything they have done for me. I am able to now pay off my debt and maybe even buy a home thanks to them. I wouldn’t have been able to do any of this if I had not found them and started doing paid posting. Right now I would be one of many people in my state looking for work. You can check out my post on Michigan’s Economy by clicking the link.

I have also met some great people along the way and hope to meet more. Thank you to everyone who reads this blog and thanks again PPP for everything you have made possible for me.

I have very poor credit, so poor in fact that I joke about someone trying to steel my credit would pay me to take it back. It’s that bad. I’ve learned recently that even people with bad credit need to watch out for people who will steel it. I applied for a credit card a few weeks ago and was approved. Why well because it was for people with bad credit. The worst part is that it starts with a balance on it, so you have to pay for money you really didn’t use.

There are many services out there you can use that will help prevent this lifelockbeing one. I suggest though that you check online and find the service that is right for you. Some will help prevent identity theft by monitoring your credit for you. Others just let you get unlimited credit reports so you can do it yourself. Either way you want to make sure you look at your credit. I’m worried now more then ever as the economy is so bad someone may thing my little bit of credit is worth steeling and I don’t know what I would do at that point. I’m already struggling to make ends meet.

Maybe this is why I was kept up bored and trying to find something to do. It’s Monday, at least for another hour on the east coast. This also means that it’s going green Monday. Today I’m going to share something personal with you. My quest to help the environment and the US economy.

The first thing I did was buy a car that got good gas mileage, the next was to make sure the car ran well and the tire pressure was good. Then I started to think of other things I could do. One was to take classes online this summer so I’m not driving much at all. I work from home so it’s all good. The next was thinking of next year and that was when I decided I needed to move. I’m not only wasting my money on gas, but all of that gas use is polluting the environment. Now I know not everyone can move, but I can so I should.

The next thing I want to do is get a laptop and a solar powered charger for that laptop. I know they have them, I’m just not sure where. I’ll find them eventually. So here is my question. What are you doing to go green?

Last night in my presentation speaking class one student talked about the fair tax. He pointed out that some people who have a lot of money don’t pay any taxes because they have put it all in stocks. He also stated that having a fair tax would take care of this issue. I found this interesting and looked into it a little more at fairtax.org.

I found that having a fair tax set at 23% would actually provide more income for the government then the current tax system does. Now this tax would apply to retail items and the income tax would disappear. That means you would get more money in your pay check to offset the retail tax.

I like this because I then control how much I pay based on my input into the economy. This would also help with people who are paid cash for work as they too will have to pay this tax. I’m sure there is much more to it then what I have stated here, and I plan on doing more research, but I am wondering what you think of having a fair tax?
