Hey everyone don’t forget that tonight if your in the US you need to do the time change. Spring forward, so move your clocks one hour ahead before you go to sleep.

Today they had an interesting thing on the news about the time change. It seems that it doesn’t help us to save energy at all. It actually causes more energy to be used as we spend more on heating and cooling cost. I found it interesting as the original concept of daylight savings was thought up by Ben Franklin to help save candle wax. It made sense then, but now we don’t go to sleep with the sun and wake up with it. Our society now works set hours, not around the sun. So in the long run it’s causing us to use more electricity, and causing issues with children and parents everywhere as kids will not want to go to bed on time.

Okay so the last one is just a headache but it’s still a good reason to get rid of this whole daylight savings time thing.
