I have had to wear eyeglasses since I was very young. I actually had to also wear an eye patch as I have a lazy eye, so yes my childhood consisted of teasing and more teasing. The good news is that I now can wear glasses and still look amazing at the same time. At one point you couldn’t do this without spending a fortune, but with sites like GlassesUSA.com you can actually afford great looking eyeglasses.

In fact you may even be able to afford more then one pair of eyeglasses and with trends going to glasses as an accessory this is something I have been really excited about. I have one pair of glasses right now, but soon I am thinking I will be getting at least two more pairs so that I can change them out depending on my mood or where I’m going. A great example is going to a club, maybe I want to wear some sparkly glasses or something with some other type of bling, but I don’t want to wear those to an interview. If I have more then one pair I can change them out and have my fun pair of eyeglasses but also have a pair that makes me look a little more grown up and ready to take on a new job.

Sometimes you want more then one pair of prescription glasses if you want a pair for everyday wear and a pair of prescription sunglasses. For me this is the ideal situation as I am always trying to put my sunglasses over my glasses and it just doesn’t work. I do wear contacts too so I figured that I could just put my contacts in. The problem with that is that I also have allergy’s and sometimes I can’t wear my contacts so I’m stuck with a glare or I’m stuck looking really stupid as I drive. I don’t try to wear them if I’m just out walking or with friends though, that would just cause teasing.

I think though the biggest problem I have with eyeglasses is choosing from all the amazing eyeglasses frames out there. There are just so many and one reason I shop online is so I can take my time and choose a frame I really love. Sometimes it only takes me a few minutes other times I take a few days to decide, but being able to take my time has helped me. Taking my time means I get a frame I really love.

I need glasses to see, many people do and until recently it was very expensive to get good glasses. Now there are numerous places to buy eyeglasses like Zenni Optical and really they have a great service. It’s inexpensive and since many people don’t have extra money to spend on this necessity it’s good to have this type of business.

The problem is the optometrist. You know those people charging you $300-$1000 for eyeglasses. Really, they think that we are going to help them buy there Bentley now a days. Really I am so not paying more then I have to for glasses anymore. I’m tired of doctors and their “fees”. I recently as looking at a site where these people had the nerve to say that if I went online for my glasses I was not a customer, and I should be ashamed for buying my eyeglasses online. Well here is a thought, why don’t these optometrist push for universal health care so we can all afford their glasses, oh wait they won’t do that, that would also mean there prices would be regulated, no more Bentley for them.

I think I’ll just stick to getting my exams at my local walmart, as they have been very helpful in giving me my information and order my glasses online. I usually buy my contacts with them so at least they have the exam fee and money from the contacts. These other optometrist need to get a life and a new business model. Though many of them do seem so against it.

I’m very very excited as today I will be ordering my new glasses from Zenni Optical. I’m excited because I really do love these glasses and you can’t beat the price. I did manage to find my old pair, but the prescription is wrong so I do need to order a new pair. This time I’m getting a pair that has sunglasses. I think it would be better then just getting a cheaper pair. I use my glasses a lot and I would need the sunglasses more then I wouldn’t.

So far I have had no problems with any of the glasses I have ordered from Zenni, I’ve gotten them quickly and they have all withstood the test of time.  I also tell friends about them all of the time and they are all very happy too. I know your thinking, sure you have to be lying. I’m not, honest. They really do have good customer service and everyone is very happy with them. Plus you really can’t beat the prices, I mean where else can you find eyeglasses for under $10?

Of course since I’m getting the pair of glasses with sunglasses that means I can’t get the funky styles like the one I have shown here, but maybe I should think about an extra pair? At the prices Zenni has I just may do that!

It’s really time I buy some new eyeglasses and with $8 Prescription Zenni Glasses there really is no reason for me not to get glasses. Of course I am finding that I love more then one pair, I have picked out what I think is my favorite and sometime next week I will be ordering them.
