I’ve been spending the last few days working on my forum cash and chat. I’ve done the easy stuff like adding a mod for advertising and so on, now though I have to work on the SEO for it and I’m scared. The reason I’m scaried is that i have to play with my sql data base and I don’t wanna! I’m going to make myself do it though, I think I may try on a test forum first just to make sure I can do it right, of course that means I have to install a test forum, but I have like 7 domains so that shouldn’t be an issue.

I’m hoping that after doing some of these upgrades people will start joining more. Right now we have a lot of spamming members. I’ll be deleting them soon, right now I’m just deleting the post. I think our biggest problem is since it’s a get paid to post forum, people want to be paid for referrals too. I have no issue with that, but right now there is no refferal link script for phpbb3. So I’m stuck until someone can write one as I don’t know how to do it myself. I’m thinking about getting some books and trying to figure it out. That way I can add all of the fun stuff I want to add. I just think it may be quicker to wait for someone to do it!

Today I am really hoping to get some stuff done. I have to take a test for the one class I am not dropping and get my participation in. Then I am going to get to work on promoting my blogs and my paid to post forum. Traffic on all of them has slown a lot and I know it’s because I just have not had the time or energy to do what I need to do. Right now it really looks like I may have to go to school for another year instead of graduating which probably means that my blogs and forum are going to be my only income for the next 2 years.

I’m going to try to get it to where I can make $1000 a month, I can live off of that, hopefully i can get more so I can still keep paying off debt, but if I move $1000 a month will be rent, food, internet and insurance. Hopefully I can even get a phone in there somewhere! I think I have just been pushing myself too hard, I’m worn out and just can’t do it anymore. I should not be killing myself just to get a degree.

I decided that I really should have thought about it when I planned my grand opening for my forum today. Apparently the Olympics has taken over the world, I should have thought about this. I don’t normally watch them. I don’t know why I just don’t, no one in my house does. It’s just not a big thing. Part of it I know is that my mom hates all sports and wants them all to die. She use to play softball and baseball, but now she just could care less and does not want it on her TV.

So I’m sitting here now thinking there is not much to do. I’m bored and a little depressed as I had hoped to be giving away some cash today and getting people excited about my forum. Oh well I’m thinking of extending it to be a few days, maybe that will help. Oh if you happen to have watched the Olympics last night, can anyone tell me who lit the torch, a member of the forum needs to know for her son. They spent the night in the hospital and it’s extra credit for his gym class.

My forum is finally having it’s grand opening. I’m excited about it because I have worked very hard on this forum. It’s a paid to Post forum called Cash and chat and today only there will be some cool prizes being handed out. We also have a few longer running contest too.

I love forums because they have a feeling of community, a blog can have that too, but sometimes it takes a long time to get there. Forums on the other hand can have that right away and do very well. If your interested check out Cash and Chat and let me know what you think.

Today I got online and figured I may have a few new post on my forum cash and chat. Well I had 16 and for a new forum that’s not horrible. Well once I got into those only 6 of them were valid post the rest were spam post. I’m still trying to figure out how some of them got there because they were not registered users. One person did and I deleted them, but I’m still working on what to do about the others. I thought I had it set so you had to register to put up post.

Anyway I guess this is a sign that my forum is doing well. I mean why spam a forum that no one is going to check out right? lol Yes I’m trying to look at the bright side of all of this. Right now it’s not too bad, but I think I may have to start looking for some moderators soon. I can handle it right now, but once I get a few more members i won’t be able to.

About an hour after I wrote my last post I called a friend of mine to see if I could get back into wal-mart. Guess what, I can’t! So I really as always have no choice but to keep trying this online stuff. On top of that I thought after talking to this friend that I would see if the house I wanted was still up for sale as it would be cheaper to buy then rent, guess what, it’s sold.

As I have said before, and no one has believed me yet, I don’t get anything I want, which is why the online thing is sucking and not going anywhere, because I want/need money. The minute I don’t care I’ll get it trust me that’s how it always works. Oh but then there will be a catch of some sort.

So anyway I have decided that because it looks like google hates this blog again (not sure yet), that I am going to work on my other blogs that I don’t do paid posting on and see what I can do with them. I started an overhaul of my review blog, Savey Spender today. check it out and let me know what you think of the new design. I’m also going to be using what little money I’ll have left after food and medications to buy advertising for my get paid to post forum. I have no choice but to keep trying. Maybe one day something will be different and I’ll get what I want for a change.

I’m excited about this mostly because I love meeting and talking to new people. I also love helping people make money so this is a great thing for me. I don’t plan on making a ton of money from this forum, but I am hoping to connect with different types of people and maybe even learn a thing or two.
