So it’s snowing again today. You know snow is pretty, but very very annoying now. I am ready for spring and it just doesn’t seem to want to get here. The bad thing is my mom wants to go out and pay bills. So we have to get her down the steps of the house to the car and all that fun stuff in very slippery snow. This is going to be fun.

I think my issue is that I’m tired of not having energy spring always makes me want to do spring cleaning and move more. I have to force myself to do anything right now and it sucks! Anyone else having this issue or am I just crazy?

Lighting is always fun to play with. I love it at Christmas when all the Christmas lights are up and the houses glow with them. My mom loves this too and recently she has started putting lights out over the summer. No not Christmas lights, rope lights, she usually just puts them around the deck so that we can see when we are outside better. I love how they look and you can see our home from a mile away. Yes I live that far in the country.

The other fun thing that I have seen done with rope lighting is when they use it on stairs so that you can see where your walking. I have seen this done in homes with small children who can walk up and down stairs, but sometimes forget to turn on a light.

Parties are a great place to use rope lights also. Last year one of my good friends had a party at her home, she used a rope light strand around a pole in her front yard, she then put a torch on top of the pole. It looked really cool and I wish I had a picture to show you but I was too busy chasing her kids around the yard.

I know I have a weird obsession with lighting, but I am a design student. I’m curious though does anyone else love rope lights?
