Part of me misses being a teen, looking at how my little brother is with his friends I think it’s so carefree. They spend hours playing the xbox 360. Then spend more hours swimming in the pool. Of course I snap out of that idea pretty quick when I remember everything he has dealt with the last 6 months and everything I delt with as a teen.

I’m still trying to figure out why it always seems that everyone’s life is better then yours. I’m not just talking about me, but others as well. One of my sisters friends mother told me a few days ago that her child wishes that she was more like me, she had kids young and wasn’t able to enjoy life. I was polite and did not inform her that I really have no life, but apparently to most people around here I do. I think that’s just because they don’t see me or know what I’m doing. For all they know I could be a CIA agent or something

I was reading on yahoo today about earth hour, an hour where cities turn of all lights to major attractions and monuments. They also encourage people and businesses to do the same. I thought that would be fun to participate in. I can live for an hour without my computer, it will happen at 11am EST and I will be turning off my computer for the hour and doing something else for that time.

Unfortunately we can’t turn off everything as our heat right now comes from a combination of electric and propane and it really won’t be warm enough to turn that all off, but lights I think we can do. I think this would work better if we all did it at night in our time zone or at least in our countries. I think it would have more of an effect that way. Just my opinion though.

Are you going to participate?

I love watching the fun and funny commercials they have out now. It’s amazing how people can come up with some of these advertisements. Sometimes it seems they are not viral film festival bannereven advertisements at all, but they really are. Apparently there is a Viral Film Festival that showcases some of the best videos sent on the web to other web users. The festival takes place April 28th online so you don’t even have to go anywhere to check it out. You can also submit your films and sign up for the film festival by going to www.viralfilmfestival.com.

I am not submitting anything as I can’t get my camera to work and I’m not into making the advertisements anyway. I just love to watch them.

My mom and I were talking today and we decided that we needed a vacation from all the stress and the bills. Unfortunately Flights to Sydney cost a lot of money but we can dream right. We decided on Australia because she had wanted to get an exchange student from there but now because of personal reasons we can’t.

Apparently she has always wanted to go there and I have too. I really would love to see the architecture and the Sydney opera house. I’m a interior design student I have to see the great architecture. I also have met a few people online from there and wouldn’t mind meeting up with them and hanging out. Who knows if I’ll ever get there, maybe one day I’ll manage and get that long awaited vacation.

1. I’m looking forward to getting my report next week.
2. I don’t handle confrontation very well.
3. chicken is something I could eat every day.
4. Warmth and sunlight rules.
5. 200lbs here I come!
6. I want tattoo(s).
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to relaxing, tomorrow my plans include shopping and Sunday, I want to watch NASCAR!

snow globe

This photo is of a Christmas gift I got this past year. I love it, it lights up and plays music. It is the second snow globe I have gotten for my snow globe collection. There is a very funny story about this snow globe. I didn’t actually get it on Christmas. My mom forgot to wrap it and give it to me. A few days after Christmas we were talking about something and I mentioned my collection and how I only had one globe so far. My mom looked at me funny, then said “I think I have something for you.” She took me into her room and pulled out a box. My personalized snow globe was inside.

The worst part is she also found some things she forgot to give my little brother. She just had alot going on before Christmas so I forgive her!
