I was not a tennis fan until a few years ago. That was when I met a friend of mine who loved tennis. Her dad played professionally for a while and she played as a kid. We use to watch matches together as I really had no choice when they were on. She would get sucked in and didn’t return until they were done. I always wondered why she didn’t try to go pro.

One of her favorite events and one of mine now too is Wimbledon. I’m sure many of you know about it from the movie, but it really is a very important event in the world of tennis. This year the Championship starts on June 30th and runs until the second Sunday in July. It is a long event and if I had to money to stay in England that long I would love to go see it, at least once. Of course I would just love to go got England too, but maybe I can time it right if I ever get to go.

If you do get over there Wimbledon tennis tickets are hard to find from what I hear so make sure you check it out before you go if that is what you are hoping to see. If you don’t have tickets you can still get a chance to be there by lining up and waiting, but you will have to be there the night before so bring a sleeping bag and a tent.

I just cant understand how adults can be so addicted to games. I sometimes have to force myself to play them to relax because all I can think about are things that need to be done. I can’t understand how people can spend hours or days playing games. Maybe I’m just not playing the right ones. I have a few people who are trying to talk me into playing World of Warcraft, but I don’t think I want to spend money each month just to play a game. What do you think?

I was looking to buy something for my little brother and I think I may have found something at http://www.borderbilliards.com. We have a pool table but my little brother doesn’t have is own cue. So I’m thinking I may buy him one. The reason I’m looking for something for him is that he helped me out with a job and now I want to pay him back for it, I don’t want him to waste the money though so I figured I would get him something instead. I think he will like it and it may get him away from the video games for a few minutes.

I love playing pool so I also think it would be a good way for me and him to do something togeather. He is so bored now that everyone else has moved out. When you go from 7 people in a home to 3 it’s hard. I’m also moveing soon so I think teaching him some trick shots I know may help him pass the time.
