Everything and Anything

I got a great gift for my little brother in the mail the other day, but it was something that was free so I think I may get him something else. What I have right now is a speaker set that he can hook up to his mp3 player and listen to music. I got it from a contest thing, I think and I don’t need them so I’ll give them to him.

I debating between two things right now. One is Callaway irons as he likes golf, but those are expensive and I don’t know if I’ll have the extra by summer to do it. The other one I’m thinking of and leaning more toward is buying him his own domain and storefront to sell chain mail that he is making. He’s actually pretty good at it. He’s 14 right now and not able to get a job. He won’t be able to until he’s a senior in high school because of his age. So he really wants to make money now and is willing to do the work. I just don’t like the idea of paying fees to use another site. I’ll have to see what I can do. I may just buy the domain and put it on my hosting for now.

I have decided that coffee is my new best friend I have been drinking it all day and I love it. Okay so I went a little overboard, but I’m awake and I’ve gotten a few things done today. I have a weakness, it’s brown, yummy and full of sugar. Yes I am talking about a girls best friend, Chocolate. I can’t eat too much chocolate, but I can eat dark chocolate without worrying as much about the carbs and sugar. I love it.

The other day I was in the store with my sister and she was telling me how her boyfriend gave her a box of chocolate for no reason. I looked at her pouted and said it wasn’t fair, I can’t get a box of chocolate ever. At least I didn’t think I ever would. Then as we walked around the corner in the candy aisle I saw a really pretty gift box of guess what, dark chocolate! I was excited as now I have hope. Yes corny I know, but hey when you have never gotten something like that it still seems like it’s special and new. Yes I know it’s sad that I have never gotten a box of chocolate, but I’ve never gotten flowers either. Maybe one day.

I got an online phone card a few years ago and I hadn’t had to use it yet. I got it for a friend of mine when our cell phones were turned off because I lost my job and couldn’t pay the bill anymore. He is diabetic and didn’t have another phone and couldn’t get one because of a roommate who ran up the home phone bill. I did want him to go without a phone so I get him the cell. Then I felt bad because I got his cell turned off because I couldn’t pay my part of the bill anymore. He never used it as another friend got him a cell phone under their plan. Apparently he has some good friends!

Anyway yesterday I finally had a chance to use it. I was surprised that I still could other phone cards I have had expired quickly and you had to use them within at least a year. The one I got online doesn’t expire until 2010. Not bad I think, the best part is I paid about $20 for 1000 minutes. It was a deal I couldn’t pass up. I just love how things work out like that. I’m just happy I have it in case of an emergency since I don’t have a cell phone right now and can’t really offered the extra payment a month for even a pre-paid. I’m hoping to be able to soon, but until then using a calling card will work when I’m on the road. As long as my car doesn’t break down were okay.

The other thing I like about this card is it has a cheep rate for overseas calling. I think I’ll let my mom use it to call our exchange student and get his address so she can finally send his Christmas gift to him. She sent it before Christmas and it got sent back because of the wrong address.

I’m going though this thing right now where I want to look my best. I think it’s because I’m starting to feel better now. I have more energy in general and I want to go out and do things. One area I always have problems with are my lips. I have tried different lip treatments but it seems like they all work for a few hours and then I’m back to my dry lips again. It bothers me mostly so I would really like to find a product that works. I think I am going to try the Nutraceutical Lip Kix Duo from Borba. I am really hoping that this will work as well as they say it will. Now that I’m ready to go out and get things done I need to look my best. I’m also going to get the Lip Tint (Divine) to wear out as it’s the perfect color for me. I use a color similar, but it dries out my lips so I’m going to try this one out for size.

I’m also looking at some of their other products for face and eyes, but I have some products that are working okay there so I’ll wait till I need them to test those out. I may end up getting the travel sizes just to try the product and see if I like it.

My mom was suppose to come home from the hospital today, but there were some issues and they want to keep her another day, so I got to go easter shopping. I got some good things for everyone. My mom told me to pick out my own gift but I couldn’t find anything so I’m just skipping it. There is nothing I need right now besides a purse, but I didn’t see any I liked.

It’s probably better anyway, we need the money more for bills. I didn’t spend a whole lot for the gifts I did get so we are not hurting there. Usually we spend a little more but they all understand. Having no money sticks even more when you have a home to worry about, but I knew that already. Anyway after that trip I am very worn out and ready for a nap that I can’t take. I have to get dinner ready for my brother soon so there is just no point.
