Okay I’m going to reveal a secret here, I wear a wig.  I have had one for about 8 years or so now and I’m cool with it. It can be fun, it can suck. The biggest problem I have is that I don’t wash it daily because I don’t have time. I try to at least once a week with a color enhancing shampoo. I don’t wear it much, just when I leave the house. Since I don’t have a car I don’t get out much anyway so it’s not a big deal.

The reason though that this is my biggest problem is that it can sometimes attract smell. If I go into a bar I could smell like smoke for a few days. Same thing with a bonfire. So what do I do, usually I end up washing it. But there are times I can’t and then I just have to stand it. It’s a horrible smell, you know how a car smells funny for a few days after everyone has smoked in it, but you don’t smoke. Yep that smell. What I have found is that if I use a dry shampoo I can actually get some of the smell out in a hurry and I am able to wash it at a later time.

I think this would of course be very helpful for people who have hair, but even more helpful to people who wear wigs, since they take a long time to dry. Usually it’s about 6 hours. I don’t like using a blow dryer on my wig because it ruins it quicker. This wouldn’t be a problem but wigs can be expensive. The cheapest one I have gotten was $40 the most expensive $300. That was my first wig, I learned a little since then.
