I am sort of looking forward to the holidays, but at the same time each year I think maybe next year will be better, maybe my family will have extra money to spend so we can give each other what we really want to give, or so that we can take a vacation or something. I also tend to find myself very lonly this time of year as everyone is talking about getting gifts for and from their boyfriends or girlfriends and I just start to feel left out again. Eventually it ends after valentines day and life goes back to normal for a while.

I thought this year I would try not to have the issues I have had, but now that my little sister and her boyfriend, who spoils her are moving back in, I think I may have to say maybe next year. I don’t want to get my hopes up as it will only make it worse. Keep in mind I am happy to have my family and the few friends I do have. So I have decided that “maybe next year” will be said one more time and I’ll just try to enjoy my family.
