Today I was looking once again at buy.com and found the computer I was originally going to get, the hp pavilion dv9925 with a 17 inch screen and web cam. Instead I bought the 15 inch version because it was 600 dollars not 900 dollars and I love it but now of course buy.com has the 17 inch one for about 600 dollars. It’s exactly like the one I have, just bigger and better. I miss my numbers on the right side and it would be nice to have them back. I may one day get another laptop just so I have 2, one for home and one for travel, yes this is crazy I know. That would be me though and if I can get it on sale then it’s even better!

I’m finding I’m slowly turning into a computer geek who loves not only finding great deals online, like at buy.com, but I have even started takeing apart computers and trying to rebuild them. Thats the other thing I like about this bigger computer, it has more memory on it. At least now I know how to change and add memory to my laptop, I know it’s not that hard but just 3 years ago I would not have even thought of doing it myself. Knowing me I’ll probably find a great deal on memory at buy.com, after I upgrade it.

I’m still trying to decide what laptop to get. I have a great hp picked out at walmart.com, but at the same time a friend of mine is trying to talk me into getting a dell. She said that upgrading the dell memory is cheep and easy, since I would have to upgrade it for what I will need it for, but I have heard some bad things about dell.

I don’t know I have an Hp now and I love it, it works great and only has problems because I got a bad video card when I upgraded it myself. Other then that it runs fine. I guess I have some thinking to do.

My family has a computer that is around 7 years old. It’s very slow and needs to be upgraded. They did some upgrading to get the world of warcraft game to work, but I really don’t think they did enough. It’s still very slow and even the game doesn’t work as well as it could. It really needs a memory upgrade along with a few others.

I told my mom in her case it might be better just to get a new computer. She’s a teacher and needs it for work and my little brother is only a freshman so he will need a good running computer for a while. Unfortunately thats not an option right now as no one has any money. Food and electricity come before anything else. If I get a laptop I may give them some of my memory from my desk top as it will only be around for emergency use.

I remember my mom telling me how her friends sister had her child’s baby shoes bronzed and how cool it was to be able to take them out and look at them. At that time I was in ballet class and I thought that was really cool too. I wanted so bad to have my shoes bronzed. She wouldn’t do it.

Now bronzing baby shoes is back in style and I still think it’s a cool idea. Now though I am looking at it bronzed baby shoesfrom a design and adult view. I would love to have this done when I have kids so that there is a memory you can see, not just remember. At the same time I keep thinking of other items that would be interesting to bronze. Example anything with a cubs logo on it, that sticks out that was my dad’s. That would be a great thing to pass down to my kinds and my grandkids as they will never meet there grandfather.

It’s strange how everything has more meaning the older you get, you remember so many things, but at the same time you forget so much. I think having something special put in bronze would help people remember important things.
