The canceled the race last night and by that time I was so tired that I feel asleep and missed the end of the Oscars. I did check out yahoo to find out who won though. I have to say I have not see any of the movies up for best picture so I really didn’t care about who won that. My mother hoped that it wouldn’t be Juno, she said it may have been a good movie, but she doesn’t like that it glorifies teen pregnancy.
I did see a few of the movies in the best actress category and I was routing for Cate Blanchett, but unfortunately she didn’t get it, but I hear the women that did get it did a great job in her movie, again I didn’t see it. As always every time Johnny Depp is up I hope he wins, he didn’t either and thats said, but all the actors are good actors so it’s okay, kinda.
This is one thing I have noticed about the Oscars, most of the time the movies nominated I have either never heard of, or had no want to see at all. I guess I’m not in the Hollywood scene enough to know of these movies.
