Earlier this week I went into the eye doctor for an appointment. They informed me that they screwed up billing the insurance and now I can’t get an exam until January. The good news is that my prescriptions are still okay according to their records, so next week I will be getting that information and ordering contacts and glasses to use until I can get a new check done.

I just am tired of running into people who don’t do their jobs, they complain when they have to do work and have to figure things out, while I can’t find anything. I’m just so tired of it. I think though even if I had a job I would be tired of people who don’t do their jobs, is it just me, or are there more and more people who don’t want to do their job correctly.

I’m waiting to find out if I have to take my step dad out to meet this guy so that he can go back to work, he’s a truck driver and has to go back to Ohio to get the truck after his vacation. I’m kinda pissed because I needed to go shopping yesterday, but waited because I didn’t want to waist gas running out to the city when I had to take him anyway. Now it looks like he may not be going as he’s still not up yet and he was suppose to meet the guy at noon.

My mom told him he needed to plan this out because she had to go back to work today, he told her that I could just take him as all I do is sit at home. Now I can’t do anything because I have to wait and see what he’s doing. I am getting work done, but I am down to almost nothing food wise, which wouldn’t be horrible if it wasn’t for the fact that as a diabetic I have to eat and I have to eat a set number of carbs. If I don’t have those I get low blood sugars. It just makes me mad because I think he either won’t be going to work until next week or he quit and hasn’t told anyone yet, he’s done it before so I wouldn’t be surprised.

I am always looking for ways to save money. I do though want to get good service or a good product in return, that is why I always do research into things before I buy anything. One of these things is web hosting. I have heard so many people talk about linux web hosting and free blog hosting and I just got so confused at one point that I was almost ready to quit. Luckily I did some research. I checked out each hosting website, I got an idea of the cost of each one and narrowed them down from there, then I started reading other blogs like web hosting rating, to see what other people thought of these hosting companies.

I finally decided on blue host and my blog was born, well my new one anyway. I have been with blue host for just about a year and I’m very happy with them. I have tried a few other services since then with some new sites but nothing has made me change yet. One thing I did learn was that just because a hosting company works for me, doesn’t mean it will work for you so check into what you are getting and make sure it is really going to give you what you need.

The other day I was talking to a fellow student when they asked what my parents do for a living. I told them my mom was a teacher and my step dad was a truck driver. They then asked what my father does and I then informed them he had passed away. They then went into why and how and all that mess. When I told them he had Colon cancer they started telling me about this colon cleanser that I should get that would keep me from getting the cancer.

The sad part about this is that is not the first time I have gotten this response. I don’t understand why people feel the need to tell me about this. One I was told by a few people that they don’t work, 2 of those people being doctors. I just sometimes wonder why these people say things like that. Most of them don’t even say oh thats sad, or sorry they just jump in with this cleanser stuff.

I have a few old friends I talk to sometimes. They are a little weird so you can only take them for so long, then you have to take a step back into reality and after a while dive back in. So I don’t see them much but when I do they always make me laugh. Well they heard about my mom and decided that I needed to relax a little, so this morning they showed up in equestrian clothing and started singing weird songs to me.

As I said I have weird friends. It did make me laugh, the best part is they had to work today and didn’t bring clothes with them. So they had to wear there equestrian clothes to work. A fact they didn’t realize until I pointed it out to them.

I’m driving out to the hospital today when I see a billboard for McDonald’s it makes me hungry so I decide that is where I’m going to stop for lunch. After that billboard I started looking at others there was one for a local casino and one for laser tooth whitening. That one stuck in my mind as someone the other day told me I should think about doing that. This person is really stuck on looks and they can’t understand why I don’t care that much about mine. I keep clean and wear some make up but I’m not going to run out and get surgery to change anything or do things that cost a ton of money. One I don’t have money for it and two why do it when you are probably going to have to spend more to keep it the way you want it?

Why are we so stuck on looks?

I woke up 20 minutes ago and I could barely move, I am so tired and worn out from the last 2 days it’s crazy. I’m up now because I have to take my little brother to school then I’m heading up to the hospital.

My mom just keeps thinking about how much this is going to cost her, she has insurance, but there is a deductible so she’s going to have to pay for most of this. She’s in the same boat I am and it sucks. I just don’t get it, why have insurance when you still have to pay thousands of dollars out of your pocket before it kicks in. Even then you still have copay and all of that. It just makes me mad that we are one of the only major countries of the world that does not provide health insurance to it’s people.

Anyway it’s too early to go on a rant, maybe I’ll save that for tomorrow.
