I woke up 20 minutes ago and I could barely move, I am so tired and worn out from the last 2 days it’s crazy. I’m up now because I have to take my little brother to school then I’m heading up to the hospital.

My mom just keeps thinking about how much this is going to cost her, she has insurance, but there is a deductible so she’s going to have to pay for most of this. She’s in the same boat I am and it sucks. I just don’t get it, why have insurance when you still have to pay thousands of dollars out of your pocket before it kicks in. Even then you still have copay and all of that. It just makes me mad that we are one of the only major countries of the world that does not provide health insurance to it’s people.

Anyway it’s too early to go on a rant, maybe I’ll save that for tomorrow.

Yesterday I found myself looking once again at Vegas hotels. I still really want to go to Las Vegas. I think though that I won’t have the money for a while so I’m going to start saving for every pound I lose I am going to put a dollar into my Vegas fund. I know it won’t be much I only have to lose 150 to get to my target weight, but at least it will be a start.

The reason it’s one dollar is that I also want a tattoo so I’m also putting aside a dollar per pound for that. I’m very excited about getting one as I have wanted one for 4 years. My little sister got one a few months ago and it made me want one even more. It’s going to be on my back where I can choose who sees it. I think thats a good move. That and I don’t have to look at it all the time if I get tired of it!

Next week I may get to help a school mate with a small project he is building a book shelf or something for a friend and wants a cool design for it. I have to wait to design it for him until I see him as I couldn’t get him to shut up about this awesome table saw from Delta machinery long enough to find out exactly what he wanted. I really think he said book shelf. But I’m not sure.

You have to know this guy to understand this. He talks about tools all the time and only tools. He is your typical guy. It’s very very sad and I worry about him, okay it’s not horrible but the guy scares away most women because they just have no idea or don’t care about what he is talking about. Once I’m done with my changes maybe I’ll try to help him.

I have tried to relax and not worry about too much today. It seems that everything is just coming at me at once and there is nothing I can do about it. So I’m going to go back to not worrying. It’s just too much. I am under way too much stress and I don’t need it.

I have decided that I need to start saving to buy a car. I have to get at least $4000 to get something that will get me to school and back, so I have a ways to go. Right now I think I’m going to set the credit thing aside and work on getting the car. It’s the only way that I can keep looking for a job so I can have a chance of paying down my bills.

I know many people don’t understand why I need a car. Take the bus right? Well that would be nice except we don’t have a bus, I live in the middle of farm field. if you look out any window of my home that is all you see. So that is not an option. If it was I would consider it. Moving also is not an option as I have no money.

I’m still going to keep working hard online. I’m really not doing horrible I’m just not as good as I need to be. If I could make $1000 a month I would be okay, right now I just can’t do that. I guess I will just have to wait and see what the next few months bring huh?

Recently I decided that I needed to subscribe to a service so that I could check my credit report often. I know I have bad credit, but in order to fix it I had to know what was on it. This turned out to be a good thing because if I hadn’t I wouldn’t have known about a medical bill I had. I never received a bill from the doctor but it was in a collection account on my credit report. Is was a valid claim so now I have to pay it. Kinda sucks but at least I know what it is.

That not the only reason to check your report. Many people are out to steel your identity and signing up for a service that will help you protect it is important. There are many of these services out there. Lifelock is one that offers some great protection against Id theft. They will put alerts on your credit report for you, they also will remove your name from pre approval list and they also will help you contact all the credit companies, banks and so on if your wallet is ever stolen or missing. This can be a big help to someone who is to busy to do this themselves. These are usually the people that are targeted for ID theft. They usually have good or decent credit and don’t pay enough attention to it.

I have poor credit and I don’t worry about ID theft much, but once I improve my credit there could be some problems for me ahead.

No it’s not valentines day, it’s national wear red day. This is a day sponsored by the American Heart Association. This day is meant to raise awareness about heart disease in women.

There are many ways that you can take care of your heart. The following is from a newsletter that is on the Associations website.

  • Get regular checkups.
  • Know your blood pressure and cholesterol numbers.
  • Follow your doctor’s recommendations for diet and exercise.
  • Take prescribed medications as directed.
  • If you smoke, quit now.
  • Get at least 30 minutes of moderate physical activity each day. Join our 12-week physical fitness program at goredforwomen.org.
  • Eat a heart-healthy diet, including fruits and vegetables, whole-grain foods and fish.
  • Limit food high in saturated fats and dietary cholesterol.
  • Limit your salt intake to 2300 mg of sodium a day.
  • If you drink alcoholic beverages, drink in moderation — an average of no more than one drink a day for non pregnant women.

I will be wearing my favorite red shirt today. I also will be adding a few minutes onto my exercise routine and heating good heart healthy meals. yes I do that most of the time anyway, but I’m really going to watch it today and hopefully continue to. If your looking for some great heart healthy tips check out this article on yahoo.

If your wearing red today let me know with a comment.

I am diabetic and I need to lose weight. I saw on the news the other day that lap band surgery might be the answer. So I decided to check out what lap band surgery was all about. I searched online and came up with so many things, lap band Houston and solve all your problems with lap band surgery. The problem was I couldn’t find out any information on what I wanted to know. I did eventually find some so I may be okay.

I know that they put a band around your stomach so that you cant eat much. I have heard both good and bad things about it. But most of the time I have heard it works well. I’m going to talk to my doctor about it but he said a few months ago he didn’t think it would help me much. I have good will power apparently.
