Right now my whole income comes from the internet and mystery shopping. Most of it is from the internet as it just cost too much in gas to do the mystery shopping on a daily basis so I tend to hold out for the big jobs.

The other day someone told me that I don’t make enough from home and that I should find a real job. I told them that I have been looking for a real job, for over 2 years. I’m over qualified and all that fun stuff. They pretty much told me that I was lazy and stupid. This morning I decided to look back at what I made when I worked at Walmartand compare it to what I make now. You want to know something interesting. I make more now then I did working at Walmart.I don’t have to pay to eat out for lunch. I don’t have to pay for gas and I can work around my schedule. I figure since that might be the only type of job I could get right now I’m doing really well. Since I make more then I did why would I want to quit what I’m doing and go back to working for someone else?

I’m sure other people who work from home, but don’t make thousands a month get this too. I guess people just don’t get it. Maybe I’m just not a greedy as they are. Maybe I am and that’s why I’m not going to quit doing the online thing, the potential to make a lot of money is here, I just have to find what works for me.

I don’t normally complain about walmart, I never complain about the one I worked at near my moms home, but today I had a bad experience and I think it’s something that is happening everywhere not just at walmart.

My sister and I went in to recycle our pop bottles and we did okay, but the machines kept filling and the poor girl in the back could not keep up. There were many other people waiting their turn but some just gave up and left. When I went in because the machine wouldn’t take some of the bottles they sold there was no people greater, turns out she was the girl in the bottle room. So I went to the service desks and complained. I was laughed at and told to leave my bottles next to the podium they have. I was not happy since I was laughed at for trying to help them.

Anyway eventually they got someone at the door and I got a slip for the bottles. The other good news is that the store manager came out and fixed everything very quickly, I know one person I used to work with saw how upset I was, she may have had something to do with the manager coming out.

I tend to defend Walmart usually. Lately though they seem to be doing some stupid things corporate wise and even talking to some former co-workers it seems they they are starting locally to live up to their reputation. I did find out more about that women and I think walmart needs to shove it up their butt and leave her alone. It seems that as the economy gets worse so does the business practices of corporate America.

Anyway now I have found out they were trying to say they have exclusive rights to their smiley. That stupid it’s a smiley face that has been around a lot longer then they have had it. I’m happy to hear there was a judge thinking clearly and he decided that the smiley was not just Walmart’s, but available to everyone.

I hate to see a company I worked for and enjoyed working for at one time be bashed in the news, but even I think this is crazy. Walmart once a again is doing something stupid they are suing a disabled women now I would tell you more about it, but yahoo sucks with only having video available that will not work on either one of my browsers. It messes up my firefox so bad it has to close and IE just shows a black box. I hate video. Even not knowing exactly what happened I’m still pissed. If you know what happened let me know please!

I know many people are hate walmart, but not all stores are like the ones you hear about. The first store I worked at had problems, but it wasn’t too bad. The reason I left was simple. I couldn’t move into management because of people higher then the store manager. Again no the stores fault, just dumb corporate types. Do I think walmart needs to make changes, yep I learned that at the second store I worked at, yes I went back. Really it wasn’t that bad.

It looks like I should be getting my Mp3 player tomorrow. I ordered it from Wal-mart.com just 2 days ago and ups says it should be here tomorrow. I’m excited because usually they drop stuff off in the morning and I should have it before I get on that treadmill.

Yes I am that bored on that thing. We do have a TV in the room, but it’s hard to hear and it’s on the other side of the basement, oh and my little brother turned the treadmill so it’s facing the opposite way so would have to walk backwards to watch it. Not something I want to do yet. I did see it on the biggest loser the other day so maybe once I lose more weight I’ll try it. Right now it’s hard for me to run 4mph for 30 seconds so I don’t think I’m in shape enough to walk backwards.

I know, I’m really really late when it comes to getting one of these, but I just don’t see spending 150 on an MP3 player. Luckily I think I have finally found a cheep one I like at Wal-mart.com it’s the XOVision 4GB mp3 player. I was going to get the 2gb but this one has a few other uses that could come in handy. Like the voice recorder for when I’m tired in class and don’t want to listen to the teacher!

I’m still debating about buying it, $50 is still a lot to spend right now since I owe so much to other things, but I’m trying to lose weight for health reasons and walking on that treadmill, facing a wall with nothing to look at or listen to sucks. I want to keep this up and right now it’s still too cold to go outside and walk. That and I spent $200 on this treadmill 4 years ago and I want to actually use it!

So I will be spending the day thinking about it and deciding what I want to do. If you have that MP3 player let me know what you think, the reviews were all very helpful and all of them liked the product. Oh and if I do get it I will write a review on it!

I few weeks ago I wrote about how you could boost your income by using fung shui. Well I finally was able to get what I needed yesterday so I’m going to try it. I got this cute little lavender kit for 97 cents at Walmart and I think it will work well. I still have some seeds that I bought a few weeks ago that I will be planting soon too. I forgot to get soil while I was out!

This kit comes with a pot to put your seeds in and a soil pod. It’s really simple to use and you actually end up with extra seeds so if you like the kind of flower you bought you can plant some outside.

We will have to see how well this works. If my income level jumps this month and next it my just be a coincidence, but maybe it won’t be. We will just have to see.
