Sometimes even the best webhost have their bad days in fact a fellow blogger just had a really bad time with blue host, the hosting company I use. I don’t believe they have yet to figure out what her problem was, but I’m sure she’s looking at some other options.

The best thing to do when looking at webhosting is check out review sites like webhosting rating. They are still new from the looks of things as they don’t have many hosting companies listed, but they have a few that I have not heard of so it’s worth a look. It seems the big ones always have good things and bad things, but if you want smaller more personalized service you want to look beyond the big ones and this site helps you with that. They also have a great section with tips on choosing a domain name, something I should have looked into more, and other hosting related information. It’s a great start to a very helpful website.

I love seeing good advertising on websites, it makes me think that they actually care what is on their page and how they are represented. I know for a fact it can be hard to get good advertisers to actually pay to be on your site directly and that is why I use affiliate management services to do this. The best part about affiliate networks is that it is easy to get good well known products, services and websites on your site. Of course then the hard part of getting people to buy things though those site begins but thats for another post.

I have found for me that my affiliate networks work the best on my design blog. I don’t make much off of it, but I do get many clicks and interested people. I know right now many people just don’t have the money for the extras, but knowing that they are still interested in them is a good thing for future references. Overall I like affiliate marketing. It adds to the look and feel of my blogs and I hope makes my blogs look more professional.

My sister the other day was telling me about a friend of hers that is trying to figure out a car loan she keeps trying to get them to tell her how much she can get for what she can afford, but they are not listening to her. I told my sister to tell her to look online and get into a automobile loan calculator to see what she can get.

One site that offers this type of service is up2drive.com. There website is very easy to use and you can apply for a loan online. The main page graphic is a little much, but it gets the point across that these people were approved for a car loan and are very happy. Other then that they give you a list of rates and even tell you a little about themselves, all on the main page. I like that as it’s straight forward and open. It makes me trust them more with my financial information. The also have a section about selling your car and you can even print a for sale sign for it.

It’s a great website for all of your auto buying and selling needs. They also have a phone number to call in case you don’t want to put anything online or you have questions.
